Group-Flying in Australia
I did not fly the whole trip, but left the group at Fraser's island. Business calling me back to Asia. Just enjoy the flying pictures

Finally got to fly in a floatplane
he took off from the harbor right facing the main runway at Hamilton
Then he waited while we had our swim and a champagne lunch at a pristine beach <G>
Fraser Island - 66 (or is it 77 ?) miles beach. They take off right from the beach in those '182. Would not let US land there though, after they had experienced our arrival the day before. This is one of the days I will always remember. I think we never flew higher than 600 (sic !) hundred feet and saw more then 2 miles ahead along the coast line from Hamilton Island. Everything was socked in.....
